Our final days of the JK-Experience would start off with a road trip to the south, down into the State of Oregon and to the town of Clackamas where we would get a first hand look at how WARN winches are made and right here in the U.S.A.

Our 4th day of the JK-Experience would start off with a trek to the west, over the Cascade Range, through the Mt. Rainier National Forest and down to a part of Washington that is famous for its deep ruts and menacing mud trenches – the Elbe Hills ORV Area.

Day 3 of the JK-Experience took us up into the Wenatchee National Forest and onto the Naches Basin OHV Trail System. Our destination of the day was two off-road playgrounds up on top of Manastash Ridge and the first of which is an area known as Funny Rocks.

For 2014, the Off Road Evolution JK-Experience presented by Nitto Tire, would take 22 built up Jeep JK Wranglers, 46 people from around the world and put both man and machine to the test as they worked their way down the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

2 weeks, 9 states, over 4,000 miles and an adventure of a lifetime! In a nutshell, that was the WAYALIFE California or Bust epic trek across the historic California Emigrant Trail. This short 3 minute teaser video is made from the thousands of photos we took along the way and in it, you’ll get a glimpse of all the things we saw and all the fun we had. In Part 2 of WILD WILD WEST, you’ll get to follow our continuing journey across Arizona, Nevada and California. Along the way, we got to see amazing historic sites, blast through hundreds of miles of wide open desert and test out our Jeep JK Wranglers on trails such as Logandale and the famous Rubicon Trail.

Starting in Hurricane, Utah, and ending up in South Lake Tahoe, California, the 2013 Off Road Evolution JK-Experience presented by Nitto Tire was designed to be one of the most demanding excursions to date.

This is the second of two short time lapse videos we made highlighting the installation of a MoTech LS motor swap using a GM 6.2L L94 V8 engine and 6L80 automatic transmission. After more than 6 years of pushing Moby, our big white 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited around with a wimpy 3.8L V6 motor, it was high time to SUPERSIZE things.

Out on the east side of the Panamint Valley, there’s a trail that takes you up the Argus Range and ultimately to an old tungsten mine known as the Defense Mine. While the trail is for the most part short and easy, there are a few challenging sections along the way that can be a lot of fun if you choose to take them.
