Giving Back to Those Who Have Given So Much

  1. I admire the “Spirit of Giving” from Northridge et al. I ask, though, that we not only honor those who are CURRENTLY serving, but also remember to honor those who HAVE SERVED in the past. I see so many businesses these days offering discounts to active-duty military personel, but little regard for those who have already completed service for their country. During my 14 years in the Air Force (81′-95′), there was very few businesses who honored military personel. While I understand our fellow country men and women are dying over in the middle east, I lost many fellow workers and friends (> 100) while serving in the military due to military-related accidents. I agree we need to honor our military personel, but let us also honor those who have served.

  2. I really like the oil companies idea! Anyone who has seen combat should be taken care of forever. Free college for their kids, free housing, something, anything.

    These people deserve the best.
