With just a couple of weeks left until SEMA, you would think that most manufacturers would be a little more tight-lipped about the new products they have developed and are planning to release for the 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler. But, I’m sure you’d be happy to to know that they are doing anything but that. In fact, I just got word from Skyjacker that they’ll be releasing two new suspension lifts and a set of front poly spacers for sale today.
If you thought Daystar was just another company with a nice body lift to look at or a good set of shackles you could grease, think again! So here’s the dilema. You’ve just bought a brand new 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler and now you’re wanting to install a set of bigger tires on it. Only problem is, the factory wheels that come on the JK Wranglers have 6.25″ of back spacing and depending on how wide the tires you want to install are, you’ll most likely have some rubbing problems at a full turn up front and a good chance that you’ll get some rubbing of the side walls on the rear sway bar as well.
Over the past week and a half, I had been getting a lot of people asking if I could get my hands on some real world flex shots of a hooked up Jeep JK Wrangler and if at all possible, flex shots on the trail. No more photochopped JK’s and no more JK’s looking pretty on the pavement – they wanted to see the real thing.
If you haven’t seen them already, I just uploaded a bunch of Jeep JK Wrangler pics from the 2006 Off Road Expo and they can now be seen in the Project-JK photo gallery. Unfortunately, I’m sorry to say there weren’t nearly as many Jeep JK Wranglers at the show as I was expecting to see, especially in lieu of the fact that several manufacturers on display there had already released products for it.
