Sprint Booster Jeep JK Wrangler
Installation Write-Up & Review

May 9, 2011 Cindy 14
Having come from a background of CJ’s, TJ’s and XJ’s that all came with nice torquey 258 or 4.0L I-6 engines, it was hard for me to get used to the lathargic 3.8L V6 that the JK’s come with. Granted, my previous Jeeps may not have been speed demons but, at least wanted to get up and go as soon as you hit the gas. More than the motor, the problem with lag that the JK’s have comes from the fact that they now come with an ETC or electric Throttle Control. And, while there are solutions available that can help address this lag by allowing you to reprogram your computer, there is another solution that does a great job of helping out as well – Sprint Booser.

Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2011
Day 6 – Goldbar Rim/Golden Spike to the Crack

May 2, 2011 wayoflife 0

Earlier in the week, there was some discussion about doing an easy scenic run to finish up our week long Moab adventures but, that didn’t last long and, come Friday, it was all about going out with a BANG!! And, that’s why we chose to do a run up Goldbar Rim and a part of the Golden Spike Trail to get out to the Golden Crack. On these trails, we saw lots of big ledges, all kinds of slickrock to play on and outstanding views out to the Colorado River and beyond.

Day 4 of our Moab Easter Jeep Safari would take us up to sandstone plains of the Poison Spider Mesa Trail. By far one of the most famous trails in the Moab area, Poison Spider Mesa features steep climbs up slickrock faces, off camber shoots, technical v-notch sections and fun sand dunes to rip down.

Day 3 – Cliffhanger Trail

April 28, 2011 wayoflife 0

For Day 3, it was time to kick things up a notch and challenge both Jeep and Driver alike on the Cliffhanger Trail. Right from the get go, this trail has big ledges you have to decend, tough rock gardens you have to climb and never racking narrow shelf roads that hug the side of towering cliff faces.
