Out in Moab, there’s a trail known as Cliffhanger and as the name suggests, there’s a length of it that has you driving along the edge of a thousand foot cliff. And, if that alone doesn’t get you puckering up, there’s a point about half way across where you have to drop down a tough rocky obstacle with nothing to the left of you but a sheer drop to the desert scrub below. Of course, being that this is a one way in and one way out trail, this obstacle is also something you have to climb back up. With no winch points up on top, it can prove to be a real tough climb. In fact, when we filmed this video, it took about an hour for a group of built up JK’s ahead of us to clear the obstacle and one ended up breaking a front axle shaft. In this short video clip, you’ll get to see me take on this intimidating climb in Rubicat, our 2012 Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and with her awesome new set 37×13.50R17 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro’s. We hope you enjoy.
