SEMA 2006 – Jeep JK Wrangler Suspension Mentions Full Traction

For SEMA 2006, Full Traction had a total of five different lift kits available for the 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler including a 2″ ECONO Lift, 3″ Economy Suspension System, 3″ PREMIUM Suspension System, 3″ ULTIMATE Suspension System and a 4″ ULTIMATE Suspension System.  And, with a total of seven Jeep JK Wranglers sitting on top of one of these suspension systems, Full Traction was able to grab the title for having the most products on display at the show.Landrunner - Full Traction 2

The Full Traction 2″ ECONO Lift, as seen on the Landrunner Jeep JK Wrangler, was designed to be a simple and inexpensive way to increase ground clearance, improve suspension articulation and clear 33″ tires without needing any major drivetrain modifications.  This kit comes complete with front and rear spacers, front track bar bracket, billet aluminum bump stop extensions, Full-Traction 5100 Hydraulic Shocks and at a price tag that just about any Jeeper can afford.

For those in need of a little more lift to clear 35″ tires but are still on a tight budget, the Full Traction 3″ Economy lift comes with new front and rear springs, front track bar bracket, rear track bar bracket, front & rear sway bar links, billet aluminum bump stop extensions and brake line extension brackets.Superior Axle - Full Traction Jeep JK Wrangler

The Full-Traction 3″ Premium Flex Suspension System was designed to be a very complete, 100% bolt on package that provides all the components you need to clear 35″ tires, provide a great ride and offer your JK superior flexibility on the trail. Made from laser crafted components and gusseted construction for added durability, this kit includes replacement 1-piece control arms made from durable 1.5″ x .188 wall DOM steel tubing and comes equipped with greasable/rebuildable flex joints and long lasting polyurethane bushings.  Also included with this kit is a heavy duty adjustable front track bar, rear track bar relocation bracket, new generation front sway bar disconnects, rear links, bump stops, off-set brakeline relocation brackets and ride frequency tuned coil springs for a comfortable ride.

Full Traction Jeep JK WranglerNow, the Full Traction Ultimate 3″ Suspension System, which could be seen on the Superior Axle and Body Armor Rescue Green Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, was developed to be the most feature-laden kit available for the Jeep JK Wrangler.  And, just like the 3″ Premium Flex Suspension System, this kit provides all the components you need to clear 35″ tires, provide a great ride and offer your JK superior flexibility on the trail but also comes complete with wheelbase and pinion angle adjustability.  Again, made from laser crafted components, this kit includes rebuildable, fully adjustable lower control arms that are manufactured from durable 2″ x .250″ wall DOM steel tubing and use the same 4130 Chromoly Heim Joints used in their famous Long Arm systems.  Also included with this kit are eight adjustable upper & lower control arms for both front and rear, heavy duty adjustable front & rear track bars, new generation front sway bar disconnects, rear links, bump stops, off-set brakeline relocation brackets, and ride frequency tuned coil springs for a comfortable ride.  Absolutely no welding required.

Full Traction 4And, last but not least, the Full Traction Ultimate 4″ Suspension System could be seen on the official Full Traction Bright Silver Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, the custom orange 2-Door in the Walker Evans booth and the Off Road Evolution Bright Silver Unlimited Sahara that was being shown in the Toyo Tires display.  Of course, this kit is very much like their 3″ system except that it comes with 4″ coils, a front track bar brace, dropped pitman arm and that it can clear 37″ tires.

All Full Traction Suspension Systems can be ordered with their M-Force Series monotube gas charged shocks or their FS5100 Hydro Shock Absorbers and for those of you going with significantly bigger tires, you can also purchase replacement heavy duty U-Joint style CV drive shafts with any of their kits.

  1. If you’re JK has 4.10 gears, you should be able to tollerate 35’s. Of course, regearing to 4.88’s would be optimal but we’re all waiting for those to come out.

  2. Are you planning on installing 1.5″ wheel spacers or are you just wanting to know how big you can go without any other modifications? If you run wheel spacers, you can easily install a 12.50 wide tire. Without them, you’ll need to stay in the 10.50 wide range. Otherwise, your 3″ lift will allow you to clear 35″ tall tires.

  3. On the Ultimate 4″ Suspension System Can you still use the factory Electronic Sway bar disconnects or do you need to use your new generation front sway bar disconnects?

How about gearing with 37″ tires?

Do you know when this lift will be available for purchase?

  4. Hi Tad, the swaybar disconnects that come with the kit are designed to be used with X and Sahara model JK. Rubicons will still use the factory sway bar e-disco.

  5. I really hate doing this, given that this is a suspension topic, but I didn’t know where else to put this question. I can’t find those Purejeep Tube Doors that are on the 6″ lifted Silver Rubicon anywhere. Would you happen to know where one can purchase a set of those? Thanks in advance!

  6. I drive a rubicon jk with 3″ full traction suspension system, 33 m/t tires on 8″ rim. looks great…..but I feel a lot shimmy on the wheel and I need to fix the aligment several times specially after the 4wd trail.

    how can I fixed?

    regards from mexico…..

  7. A shimmy in the wheel is typically the result of your wheels being out of balance. This is especially true after going wheeling as throwing weights is common and/or the build up of mud on the wheels will cause this problem.
