With a Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited sitting on top of 6″ Long Arm Suspension System and 39.5″ tires, TeraFlex clearly had the biggest JK on display at SEMA 2006. But, in addition to this monstrous lift, TeraFlex also had four other suspension systems available for the 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler including a 2.5″ Performance Boost, a 3″ Suspension Kit and two variations of 4″ Suspension Kits. Â
The TeraFlex 2.5″ Performance Budget Boost, as seen on the Steel Blue Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited in the Tuffy display, was designed to be an affordable way for people to lift their JK, increase its off-road Performance and do it all without having to do a lot of modifications. This kit comes complete with 2.5″ coil spacers, bumpstop extensions, swaybar links, TeraFlex shock absorbers and it features exclusive spring retention spacers that prevent the rear coils from dropping out when your axle is fully articulated.
One of the more popular Jeep JK Wranglers on display at SEMA 2006 was the Silver Skunkwerks Unlimited that was featured in the Mopar display and I’m sure you’d be interested to know that it was sitting on top of a TeraFlex 3″ Suspension System. Designed to increase axle articulation on moderate trails, this kit will allow you to install up to 35″ tires and give your Jeep JK Wrangler the look you’ve been wanting. This kit comes complete with 3″ springs, bumpstops extensions, rear swaybar link extension and front swaybar quick disconnects.
Need more lift? Well, the TeraFlex 4â€? Suspension Lift Kit, as was featured on the custom green TeraFlex Limited Edition Adventure Prospector and Red Rock Crystal Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited in the Bushwacker display, is designed to clear up to 37″ tires and is available in two different versions. The first version is a basic kit that comes with a set of 4″ springs, TeraFlex shocks, front swaybar disconnects, rear trackbar relocation bracket and bumpstop extensions. The second version is basically the same kit except that it’s geared more for hard core trail use and includes upper and lower FlexArm control arms. I should also point out that the front lower FlexArms have been uniquely designed with an extra bend in them so that your tires will not rub them at a full turn.
Of course, bringing this back full circle, the huge TeraFlex Jeep JK 6â€? Suspension System that was featured in the AWC display has been designed to run 37″ tires or larger and gives you everything you need to tackle the most extreme terrain. This kit includes 6″ springs, TeraFlex shocks, upper and lower FlexArms, front swaybar disconnects, rear trackbar relocation bracket and bumpstop extensions. From what I have been told, TeraFlex has “tested and perfected this suspension system to offer the best highway handling and off road performance available.”
One other suspension component that definitely needs a mention is the new TeraFlex Dual Rate S/T Swaybar System. Operated with a simple twist of a knob, the this dual Rate swaybar system features two torsion bars, one for heavy duty highway handling and one that is specifically tuned for off-road articulation, that will give you maximum performance on and off the trail.

From all the reading I’ve done Teraflex again looks to have the most complete kits on the market. The big question for me is when will they have kits available for Right hand drive and for the CRD Unlimited.
Yes, Teraflex does seem to have the most complete kit’s. I have to say they are my favorite.
I am very interested in the 6″ long arm kit set up. Are there any unusual mod I would have to make to get it to all work properly?
One more question, Where the heck can I purchase the 6″ long arm kit, the same kit on the Teraflex JK???
Hey Richard, the 6″ long arm kit is not available for purchase at this time. Regarding what would be needed to make it work, at the very least, you will need to hack off your lower control arm mounts and mount by drilling or welding on new brackets.
Eddie
When will this kit be available? I am VERY interested in it
Hard to say for sure but from what I am told, it should be available before summer.

Does that Red Rock Crystal Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited with the 4″ lift have the basic kit or the hardcore kit installed? Also, does anyone know if the basic kit is trail worthy? Thanks in advance!
Jay
I would like to know what kind of roof rack is on the Teraflex JK? where can i buy one?
Thanks
Randall
The roof rack is made by Kargo Master and you should be able to get it at Quadratec or 4WD.com
I hopefully will be purchasing a Jeep Unlimited in a few months and as soon as i drive off the lot i am going to the shop to put the jeep on thiry-five inch tires. Is there anything i should watch out for when go to the so i do not get screwed
Yes, You will need a suspension or a body lift, I have a 4 inch lift that works great, Depends on what brand of lift you get, some lifts Like Teraflex, Skyjacker etc.. will let you Get 35’s with just a 2.5 inch lift, I personally like the way the 4inch Lift looks way beter than anything shorter. But I got a “Rough Country” Basic lift but this lift brand said I needed at least a 4 inch to get the 35’s, Just depends on the brand I guess..Hope this helps!!
