Looking for a serious boost in the performance in your Jeep JK Wrangler’s engine? Well, I just talked to the guys over at Avenger Supercharger and was told that they are currently in the in the process of prototyping the first supercharger for the 3.8L. And, I’m told that they expect to have a prototype finished in the next few weeks and will debut it on their project vehicle this October 31st at the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Now, if you’re going to be attending SEMA this year, you can find the Avenger Supercharger JK at the Ramsey Winch booth (#31427). Some of the mods you can expect to see on it are Poison Spyder front and rear Tube Fenders, Poison Spyder Rock Sliders, M.O.R.E front and rear bumpers, a Superlift 4″ Lift, KMC Wheels with 37″ tires and a custom paint job similar the one you see in the rendering to the left.

A very good news as it should be much less costly than putting a new motor in it. I guess they have some horsepower and torque target. I wish to have something like 250Hp and 300 lbs/ft, if I’m luchy enought, that will be a future upgrade for me!!
Great looking concept & sure is a need for more ponies on the JK
That is a slam’n concept. I’m in big hopes of a supercharger. I have the Sahara four door. I want to put a 4″ lift with wheel spacers and some 35’s but then I won’t have anymore ponies to make it scream down the road like I had in the Titan I had. I’d like it to do more than just look good.
I just bought a jk wrangler unlimited with a 4″ skyjacker lift, and 37 13.50 x 17 Micky thompson. I hope this supercharger comes out soon just wondering what kind of added power I can expect. Also if you have any good chip upgrades, or any thing else that you recommend me do. P.S great website guys.
