TeraFlex JK Wrangler 4? Long Arm Suspension

Murray, Utah- March 6, 2008.  Tera Manufacturing, Inc., manufacturer of TeraFlex suspensions, body protection equipment, low range gearing and HD axles, introduces the newest suspension system for the JK Wrangler.

The TeraFlex 4? Long Arm Kit for the JK Wrangler sets new levels of performance.  With over one year of intense, inclusive, detailed suspension geometry engineering, and development the finest JK Long Arm is now available. This long-term testing has yielded several aspects that provide optimal handling and performance. Some major suspension areas that were addressed are Anti-dive for proper front braking, Anti-squat for proper power to wheels suspension movement, and front and rear roll centers receiving several improvements.

All of these refinements equate to total tuning availability by the customer to ‘dial in’ the suspension to specific driving styles and handling preferences. This tuning is accomplished through fully adjustable upper and lower long FlexArms that allow pinion, caster and roll-center configurations to be modified.

The core of the Long Arm kit is found in the heavy duty bracketry precision CNC cut and formed from ¼? steel plate with fully gusseted and reinforced welds. The simple design incorporates flawlessly with the frame and provides OE streamlined styling. Simple, straight forward installation is handled with frame locating holes in all bracketry prior to stitch-welding the brackets in permanent location. The TeraFlex lower FlexArms feature 2? OD x .281 wall DOM with fully welded heavy duty bushing eyelets for superior rigidity and durability against the rocks for complete dependability.

Several continued innovative features of the TeraFlex Long Arm System are found in our exclusive rear spring retention spacers that attach to the frame, and will not drop out even during extreme articulation. With the integrated spring tower the spring is positioned correctly in all suspension articulation scenarios, and automatically returned to its proper resting location during up-travel.

The front and rear bumpstop tower extension incorporates a urethane encased steel extension that extends the factory bumpstop correctly, and utilizes the factory bumpstops for a progressive rate bumpstop during compression.

TeraFlex VSS 9550 Performance shocks feature vehicle specific engineering, and OE technology partnerships resulting in a shock that proves itself in wide varieties of terrain and will not fade in the extreme conditions.

The TeraFlex 4? Long Arm Kit is designed to fit up to 37? tires. Other lift height are also available- including 3?, 6? and a long arm upgrade for existing suspension owners. The TeraFlex 4? Long Arm Suspension System retails for $2632.99
