In all the years we have been coming up to Tahoe in the summer, I’d have to say this is the first time that we’ve seen so much snow stick around for so long. In fact, even though it’s July, we had heard reports that the Rubicon Jeep Trail was still covered in deep snow from about the top of Cadillac Hill, down to the staging area near Tahoma and enough so that buggies were only recently breaking trail over the 4th of July weekend. Well, as you can imagine, this was something that we had to see for ourselves especially being that we were planning to run the whole trail with a group of friends in about a week and, this short video highlights the fun we had snow wheeling our way up the backside of the Rubicon. I hope you enjoy:
What are those wheels? Look great!
nice, goog job
Nice video but i have to ask how many times did you have to use your winch on this snow trail?
Thats the joy we Minnesotians get to do every winter. Offroading in snow is a fun and interesting type of offroading!!
Once again you have made a wonderful video documenting your trip and I was wondering what editing software do you use?
That’s just crazy 🙂
Thank you for the videos. My son is 2 and a half, and he loves watching them and asks me to give him a dose of your videos everyday (he’s not too fond on the other ones on youtube). We look forward to the next video. Thank you
