Cell Phone Induced Buzz Or Clicking-Like Sound In Radio Speakers

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves a discussion regarding cell phone generated signal interference with
the vehicle radio system.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
A customer may experience a buzzing or clicking-like sound coming from the vehicle radio
speaker(s). The sound may be heard when the radio is in AM or FM mode. The
clicking-like sound may sound like Morse code.

  1. This is a problem. I always have my cell on me and i am alwasy listening to the radio. anything to fix it?

  2. I am having the same problem with my JK. I understand that some TSB ‘s are USA only but Im in Canada and mine does it too? Any info to fix it yet?

  3. This is a problem not just with the JK. It also happens on my Ford F150. Its the signal the phone puts out. Keeping the phone away from your speakers is the only way to fix it.
