Ever since we had the all new EVO MFG Bolt-On Coil Over kit installed on Rubicat (our new 2012 Dozer Yellow Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon), we’ve had a ton of people ask us about how well it performs. And, rather than just tell people what we think, we thought it might be better to film this kit in action, make a short film highlighting it and let people decide for themselves based on what they see. Of course, we couldn’t think of a better place to put this kit to the test than the world famous, Rubicon Trail.

Still running stock axles, lockers and gears? Like to see how they hold up to the 37’s….
yeah, that’s what we’re running for now. we do have c-gussets installed but no sleeves. while in tahoe, we did end up breaking a driver side front axle shaft but, knew that was bound to happen. we’re now running a chromo front shaft with full circle clip.
Does the front and rear coilover kits come with the c/o’s? It looks like the rear does per the product description, but the front kit is not so clear on the Off Road Evo website.

pa4567 asked what I was going to, but are you using the rubicon electronic system for sway bar disconnects because I swear it looked like the links were still attached and i don’t see a way to get that much articulation in the wheels with them on.
Nice video! I have a question. How do you like the new for 2012 3.6L v6 compared to the previous years 3.8L v6?
there’s really no comparison, the new 3.6 is so much better
how much lift do you think the rubicat has? im thinking of dropping mine down to 3.5 or 3 inch lift but not sure if that will make me drag on everything all the way through the con. im running 37s as well.
We have it set at about 3.5″ of lift
Exactly what suspension system does this thing run? I can’t seem to find a straight answer anywhere…
