Of course, by doing this you will effectively free up any 4WD related steering bind and this will help make negotiating tight sections of trail a lot easier.

This increases trail turning ability by allowing tighter turns on narrow switchbacks, and eliminates most front end steering bind associated with 4WD. The 2Low kit is a completely internal modification and does not require any other modifications to the transfer case housing or components. Installation can be done with the front half of the transfer case remaining in the vehicle.

Is there a reason this won’t work in a non Rubicon 241 transfer case? From what I understand they’re essentially the same the only difference being the gearing. We could all benifit from this. Two low is one of the things I really miss about not having unlockable hubs in the front of these new 4×4’s.

I spoke with the guys at TeraFlex Plus in Murray, UT… they were pretty adamant that this part was only for the 241OR in the Rubicon… you should give them a call though… they are more than willing to talk to anyone about their stuff.

as mentioned, this is not the easiest mod to do but not impossible for the average garage mechanic. the right tools will definitely make this easier to do.
