For a final hoorah before heading back home to southern California, Cindy and I decided to do a quick run up the Slickrock trail which is located about 2 hours south of South Lake Tahoe, near Lake Alpine in the Stanislaus National Forest. Overall, this is a realatively "moderate" trail that any Jeep JK Wrangler can do but it does have a few tough sections towards the end that does give it an official rating of "difficut". And, if you choose to, there are plenty of optional obsticals along the way that can really kick things up a notch or two.
