COP4X4 Jeep JK Wrangler Cargo Nack

Running doorless and topless is always great fun but when it comes to loading up your Jeep JK Wrangler with family, a dog, a ton of camping and recovery gear, it can be somewhat of a problem. Heck, even if you can get all your gear loaded up, keeping it all in on the highway and on the trail without it falling out or blowing away can require some creative packing. And for me, that’s why I decided to get a COP4X4 Cargo Nack.

The COP4X4 Cargo Nack not only looks great, it’s easy to install, is made extremely well, is super strong and will allow you to keep all your gear inside your Jeep and so much more. In fact, the Cargo Nack is so strong and versital, it actually comes with additional straps that’ll allow you to use it as a roof rack. Quite literally, you can strap all kinds of gear to the top and sides of it.

Check out the step by step installation write-up below to see just how easy it is to install the COP4X4 Cargo Nack on your Jeep JK Wrangler.

Instructions

1. Remove your COP4X4 Cargo Nack from its packaging and lay it out flat. Please note that then end with the COP4X4 logo on it is the back half of the Nack. 2. Starting from the back, carefully roll up the COP4X4 Cargo Nack as shown in this pic. 3. Carefully lift up and place the COP4X4 Cargo Nack across the top of your Jeep JK Wrangler’s windshield frame and roll bars as shown.
4. Secure the COP4X4 Cargo Nack to the 3 footman loops on your Jeep JK Wrangler’s windshield frame. 5. Slowly unroll the COP4X4 Cargo Nack across the front seats of your Jeep JK Wrangler and set it on top of the sound bar. Then, attach the straps to roll bar by looping it through the buckles and securing the velcro in place. 6. Once again, unroll the COP4X4 Cargo Nack until it’s dangling off the rear bar. Then, attach the straps to roll bar by looping it through the buckles and securing the velcro in place.
7. If you purchased the COP4X4 Cargo Nack side curtains, you will need to slip the top buckles through the main overhead straps before securing everything to the roll bar. 8. Once again, if you purchased the COP4X4 Cargo Nack side curtains, you will need to slip the side buckles through the rear most straps prior to securing everything to the roll bars. 9. Loop the last of your COP4X4 Cargo Nack straps through its buckles and secure the velcro in place.
10. Pull back the carpeting next to the rear seats of your Jeep JK Wrangler and locate the small hole adjacent to the door latch. 11. Use an XACTO knife to cut a small slit in the carpeting right next to where the hole on the body is. 12. Although the COP4X4 Cargo Nack comes with carabineers to secure the side curtains to the body, I found them to be difficult to use and so I picked up a coulple of peg board hooks and quick links to do the same job. Here is a shot of the peg board hook.
13. As mentioned in step #12, you will also need to pick up a 1/8" quick link to replace the carabineers. 14. Reinstall your Jeep JK Wrangler’s carpeting, locate the slit you cut in it and attach the peg board hook through the hole adjacent to the door latch as shown. 15. Hook the quick link through the hole on your COP4X4 Cargo Nack side curtain and then attach it to the peg board hook. Once everything is on, lock the quick link in place.
16. Slip the aluminum bar provided through the hoops on the back of the COP4X4 Cargo Nack as shown. 17. Slip one end of the aluminum bar through one of the existing square hole on your Jeep JK Wrangler’s rear roll bar and then repeat on the opposite side. You may find it necessary to pull down on the bar and push it further into the other hole a bit in order to make it work. 18. If you purchased the COP4X4 Cargo Nack grocery organizer, secure the velcro straps to the aluminum bar. Then, apply the velcro strip provided to the carpeting of your Jeep JK Wrangler’s trunk and attach the grocery orgaizer curtain to it.

And that’s all there is to it. You now have a great looking versital cargo net that can also be used as a roof rack and one that can hold a lot of weight.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
