Wanna see some Jeep JK Wranglers with your own two eyes? Well, if you live in the SoCal area, you better make a point to head on over to the 2006 Orange County Auto Show between now and Sunday, October 8th. I just got back from the opening night and can tell you that there’s a Rescue Green 4-Door Unlimited Sahara, a glossy Black 4-Door Unlimited Sahara and a beautiful Rescue Green 2-Door Sahara all featured in Chrysler Jeep display.
Unfortunately, when I was there, the only JK Wrangler that was open for patrons to sit in and get their fingers all over was the Black Sahara Unlimited. However, there were plenty of people doing just that and a few had even taken the time to remove and reinstall the Freedom Top panels just to see for themselves how much effort it would take.
Also, if you’re hoping to pick up a 2007 JK Wrangler brochure while you’re there, I hate to disappoint you but none are available. You can however leave your name and address at the Jeep Info desk and they will mail one out to you once they get it in hand.
The 2006 OC Auto Show is being held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California and will be running from Wednesday, October 4th through Sunday, October 8th. Tickets are $10 a person and parking is $9. But, if you want to get in for FREE, stop by Don-A-Vee Jeep in Placentia, CA and ask for Jeff Sladick. He’s got tickets for the show and is eager to give them to you. At least, that’s how I got in.
