Jeep JK Resources

When we placed our order for a brand new Stone White 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited back on July 10, 2006, it was done with the complete knowledge and understanding that it may take some time to get. Having already gone through a similar experience back when we purchased our TJ some seven year before, we were quite prepared to do some waiting… but, what we didn’t realize at the time was just how much waiting we would really have to do.

With everything from a sway bar disconnect motor that didn’t like water to a newly designed BFGoodrich M/T KM tire that had a difficult time balancing and then a shortage of Freedom Tops for the Unlimited, it would seem that ordering an Unlimited in a Rubicon package was the single best way one could ensure that you wouldn’t get your new JK before the end of the year. In fact, when all was said and done, over six months would have passed before we would be able to take possession of our new JK on January 29, 2007. Was it worth the wait? You betcha!! We absolutely love this new Jeep and in some ways, I think the ridiculously long wait only made getting it that much sweeter. In fact, as some of you may know, we loved our JK so much that we ended up selling our TJ and bought a 2009 Sunburst Orange Jeep JK Unlimited X to replace it.

Below you will find links to useful information regarding the Jeep JK Wrangler.

  1. update on my jeep. As I mentioned I ordered on October 4th a unlimited 4 door sahara with freedom top and had a vin # now for about 5 weeks. It finally is on a rail car!!! My dealer says that anyone without a VIN# at this time will not see there 4 door for months (like february to april) depending upon if they ordered it already or just starting out now. I was lucky because before they stopped production I already had a VIN# My jeep is suppose to be at dealer 12/26th and then they need it for a couple days (clear coat etc.). Way its going it will probably be January 3rd before I get it. That will make it 90 days to the day from when I ordered. By the way, he also says that I shouldn’t have a leak issue. Apparently they have fixed the problem, we will see.

  2. Well, went from BX back down to BG today. However now that MyGig is finally available apparently or will be soon, we’re going to modify my order to see that it’s installed. I guess God only knows when this Jeep is going to ship. I had really wanted it before the winter, but I just don’t know if it’s going to happen.

  3. Congrats Kathy šŸ™‚
I’m glad to hear that someone will be getting their’s soon.
I was told by my dealer that mine probably won’t even begin to be built until sometime in Feb.(I ordered it Nov.11) I’ll be happy if I get it by my birthday in March. The dealer also told me that they have sold about 12 of the four door units, almost all with the freedom tops, and he hasn’t had any of them come back with any roof leak complaints. And it’s rained really heavily a few time around here. So maybe the leak problem isn’t really as big of an issue as it’s been made out to be???

  4. The leaky roof issue seems to be haunting alot of people. I was wondering did any of you with the leaking roofs disassemble the roofs after you took delivery of your jeep, and then re-assemble them again for the rain. I remember the seals on the old bronco’s roofs were faulty and exhaust could seep into the cab if the seals were ever broken. Just curious. I’m picking up my 2dr Rubi next week with the freedom top, I’ll be sure to check out how the roof seals together.

  5. Hawk,

We ordered our jeeps on the same day. I just got off the phone with DC 12/21/06 and they told me my Sahara was in D1 status which means its being built at this time, with a scheduled delivery to dealer on or around Jan 11th. I can’t remember in your past posts if you ordered the MyGIG. If so, that could be the delay from what my dealer told me. Hope you get good news soon. Looking forward to getting mine in. Good luck!!

  6. To Eddie,
I ordered my Rubi, dark green unlimited at Countywide in Garden Grove. Its now at D status.
The paper that the dealer had from Costco showed the price was $500 under invoice and that was for I think all of the Chrysler cars and trucks.
My dealer, also stated that I would get all the mopar parts at his cost price.
I ordered the dark green cause it matches my 51 M38 Willys jeep that I restored in 2005. check this out, I can tow my 51, weighs 2300 lbs and then go off roading with both.

    Thanks
    Mike in Seal Beach

  7. To Mark,
I ordered the Jeep green with the black hardtop and black softtop.
Can you email me photo of the khaki soft top and hard top.
Does the hardtop come in khaki too.

Did you get the grey interior or the khaki interior. Please send me photos if you have any of tops and interior
    thanks

  8. Just got my Jeep Wrangler 2007 4 door w/ 3 peice hard top two weeks ago. It’s in the shop b/c of roof leak. The dealership is trying to fix it, i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem, too early to tell i guess.

  9. Hey there Ed,
We ordered our Jeeps on the same day and yours is being built?!
MAN!!! That’s best news I’ve heard in a long time! You’ve really lifted my spirits. I was plannin’ to call the dealer because when I ordered my ride I was just going to get the stock stereo, along with the sattelite radio. But then I saw how the MYGig unit works personally in my friends vehicle (he’s got an H2), and I thought that getting the MYGig would be great! So I told my dealer thtat if they became available before my rig was built I would like the MYGig installed instead. But I reciently learned that the Voice Command and the UCONNECT bluetooth features are not going to be installed on the Wrangler MYGigs because of the fact that the microphone and keypad for those options are mounted in the rearview mirror. And since the windshields on the Wranglers fold down they are not going to be installing that special mirror in them. So now that I know that I’ve kind of lost my taste for the MYGig unit, and I’m thinking about going with the 6 disk player, and buy a cold air intake instead, and save a little money.

So I was going to call the dealer and let him know that I have changed my mind (again šŸ™‚ ) about the stereo. Maybe he will have some good news for me. But actually at this point I really don’t care what kind of stereo my Jeep comes with as long as it comes soon.

  10. Just a note – especially for the Don A Vee orders, I had one on order and have been told by several of their sales crew that the manager has forced them to sale above MSRP – no joke – at least 2000 at this point and I hear it is climbing. To check – I called Dealers all across SoCal and found that some dealers did mark them up anywhere from 2000 to 10000 dollars. In Fact I was quoted from one of the dealers – I believe San Juan Cap. that they had a black Rubi and told me it was 46,000 – this is pure B.S. (the quote was actual – the price B.S.) He said it had add-ons, but the add ons actually should have come to no more then 4000. So- just a heads up – I ditched my order and bought one from Ontario – still paid a mark up, but the sales man – (Kevin Kerth)was more then up front about everything and actually knew about the product he was selling.

  11. Well so we’ve added the MyGig to my order and it didn’t change my already demoted status of BG. I was at BX and demoted to BG last week. At BG now with the MyGig added and hovering.

Leaks in the roof? Well, I don’t really want to talk about that. I mean, with the money you blow on this rig, that’s not something you want to talk about right? Well, this is my 4th Jeep all priors being in the CJ family. When it rained inside of them, I didn’t care. That’s not to say that I don’t want it to rain in my 07 Rubicon Unlimited, but if it does, I’ll deal with it. If dealing with it means talks with the dealer or me doing some jury-rigging on the tops then so be it. I’m not going to get angry until the locking differentials kick out when I need them. If that happens, then God help Jeep because I will rain down on them like fire from Hell. But of course that won’t happen.

And by the way! Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays!

We shall Jeep until the wheels come off!

  12. Still leaking after i brought it into the dealership two days ago. I am bringing it in again after christmas to see if they can stop the leaking. Wonder what happens after i bring it in the 3rd time and they cannot fix the problem????

  13. Had our first rain since i got my 4 door in mid November – leaks like crazy. Thought I was the only one until I googled “roof leak” and 2007 wrangler and came across this website… At least I’m not alone. Anyone having a problem with the automatic throttle control?

  14. HAVE OWNED MY 07 4 DOOR UNLIMITED FOR 2 MONTHS NOW. HAVE THE FREEDOM TOP LEAK PROBLEM ALSO. WATER LEAKS ON TO DASH IN CENTER RIGHT DOWN INTO THE STEREO THAT IM SURE WILL BE FRIED NEXT. VISUALLY CHECKING THE AREA WHERE IT IS LEAKING I SEE WHERE A FIX WAS ATTEMPTED PRIOR TO ME PURCHASING. WHEN I ASKED THE SALES PERSON ABOUT THE ROOF LEAKING AT BUYING TIME HE STATES “THESE ROOFS ARE DESIGNED NOT TO LEAK” BULL $%@#…..WISH I HAD NEVER BOUGHT THIS 27,000 DOLLAR SHOWER THEY CALL A VEHICLE. WILL BE GOING TO DEALER IN AM DEMANDING NEW JEEP. IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET TO BUY, I WOULD WAIT AT LEAST A YEAR OR PURCHASE THE SOFT TOP. IF YOUR LUCKY MAYBE IT WONT LEAK….

  15. I took delivery of my unlimited four door (off the lot) 11-28. I ordered hard top which was installed Friday 12-22. It leaks at the windshield where the two top pieces join. Dealer is claiming that a new weather seal is coming out shortly.

  16. What a wonderful dealer I have. My jeep arrived at dealer earlier than they thought on December 22nd and they stayed late, did the undercoat and I went in the eve of the 23rd to pickup my shinny silver 4 door, manual 6 speed, wrangler sahara with the freedom top and loaded in every way I could from manufacturer. It is gorgeous. In time for christmas with 7 miles on it. I live at 7000 feet in snow and ice. No leaks so far but due to the weather in the sierras I haven’t taken the freedom top off and back on yet. Unbelivable how well sealed this vehicle is. Air tight, quiet and wonderful shocks. I added the rear slip differential and it comes with stability equalizer that really works great(yes we had a turn with a slide on ice that you could feel the stabilizer settle the truck). I couldn’t get my gig but did get the stereo with 6 cd changer and sirius with the extra speaker. The sound system works great. The only additional cost I spent that wasn’t worth it were the manufacturers floor mats. Thin and carpeted that really won’t do for dirt, snow, or off road. The parts department at the dealer did happen to have some great heavy duty rubber mats that were well worth the cost. Don’t spend the money for mats from manufacturer just pu some great jeep rubber mats when the car comes in. I have owned a 2 door wrangler since 92, this car is every bit a jeep with some really nice comforts that are added but can still be removed whenever you want. WORTH THE WAIT!!

  17. My 07 Jeep wrangler 4 door Leaks at the bottom of the full doors.
It has a soft top but it dosent leak. Any suggestions? It happens on the driver and passenger side. Light rain even trickles in to make the carpets wet.

  18. if you talk to the folks at the jeep customer service 800# they claim to have no idea about the widespread leak issue. The dealership (dropped mine off last night) says there’s no TSB for it but that they will fix it and that they felt it was an isolated issue. I referenced this website and they said 2 or 3 people “claiming” to have a problem doesn’t make it a widespread issue. I wonder, precentage wise, how many jeep owners with the freedom hard top are having the leak problem…. the dealership did give me a new ’06 liberty to drive until the issue is resolved though…

  19. What are we going to do people? What are we going to do about our leaks. I too have a leaky jeep just like everyone else. Same place…doors and leaky freedom top drips right down on the by the radio and the 4wd shift. Mine has been in the shop twice and my dealership states ‘there is nothing else they can do for me!’ Great! Just what I want to hear. Lemon Law? Nobody else has mentioned about the radio shorting out. Is that just me? It something happens when I’m at a stop light and start moving or when I put the electric windows down and push both button up at the same time. Anyone with the same problem?

  20. Hey there Jeepgrl,
Here is a link to a conversation (or thread) about what you are discribing (the shorting out) and how to probably get yours fixed. http://www.jk-forum.com/showthread.php?t=1224
It’s from a web site called JK-Forum.com, which you can get to by clicking on the green JK-FORUM button at the top of this site page. It’s a great Forum site with a wealth of information all dealing with the new 2007 model JK Jeep Wrangler. You need to sign up in order to post questions or replies, but it doesn’t cost a dime, and every one that’s a member there is very cool, and someone will always try their best to help you out. If anything you’ll find that when it comes to problems with your new Jeep…your not alone. But at least there you have a better chance of getting answers to any Jeep questions you may have.

  21. I’m putting in my order this week for a black rubi unlimited with dual tops. When I test drove a JK last week, the dealer told me no more freedom tops are being produced at this time until the problem is fixed.

  22. ok… i bought a sort top 4 door and i have no roof leaks. i also work at the jeep dealership. if you tighten the screws too hard that go in the 3 piece haard-top you could easily have a leak. not only that but if you put it on wrong that would also cause it to leak. I live in east texas,it rains like crazy, and none of my customers have come to me with a leaky roof. i don’t know what is wrong with yours, but i know when my customers left the dealership they knew how to operate the top. now about ordering your jeeps. I have heard that you will not get a rubicon till around february or march. thats what i have heard. i would check on it but i think that its true. now there is no way people are buying a jeep for 10,000 dollars over sticker. i have never found a person that commited into buying. i know some dealerships do sell them over sticker, but mine does not. if anyone has a question, email me…

  23. I am going crazy! I order a Black 2 door Rubicon with the dual top group etc… on October 27th still waiting!!! Only bad news I got so far is the MyGiG media system will not be available with it… My dealer was given the VIN # last week… so it cant be long now

  24. Hey there folks.I just picked up a 2007 2dr-rubicon,silver with the two top option.I do have water leaking in as well but it is coming in from where the door(both door’s)top front corner meets the windshield frame and the top.So with the 3 mating surfaces the water is finding a way in.I’m actually surprised it is not leaking more due to the way the top sits on the windscreen frame. There is enough water getting in that I’ll be going to the dealer and see what they come up with.i am going to give DC the benefit of the doubt and I am sure they will work something out.I will say the top is still miles ahead of my old yj top!
As for the engine, since the most fun you will have with this vehicle will be under 10 miles an hour,it’s a good match.I would be leary of the 4dr with this engine. The 4 dr weighs over 5000 pounds and when you throw in a few buddies and gear, you may be asking a bit much of V6.
I’ll keep you people updated on my leak!

  25. I bought a 4×4 Jeep unlimited Sahara in November, because i jumped the gun when I saw they had a “Rescue Green”, with all the options I wanted. They told me it was being shipped from Toledo and would be here in two weeks. Now apparently its being “held” because of the freedom top problem. After hours of complaining on the phone to the sales manager, he explains Jeep wont recall a part until the potential price of lawsuits outweighs the recall cost.
Getting this thing home is harder than trying to adopt a baby oversees. Hopefully it’s worth the wait. Does anyone have ANY updated info on the Toledo hold?

  26. Frustrated. Unlike many of you I’ve never owned a Jeep. The 4 door looked like a wonderful option. (2 kids) Bad thing is I’ve got leaks as well. I’ve got water that consistently drops in on the passenger door handle and sometimes the center drops some. When I first took it into the dealership they attempted to fix it by tightening down the top. SMART MOVE. Cracked the tops and I’ve been waiting for replacements since November.

Problem is that is still leaking. I’ve been told the shipping is cracking the top. I’ve seen this firsthand because I’ve got one of the new cracked tops on now.

I’ve only got 3300 miles on the car and honestly wish I’d never bought it.

I hope to tell you some happy result soon.

  27. Question for “bucky”…

I just got my new 4 door Sahara with the dual tops, last Thursday.

Since I got dual tops, I had to take the hard top off, to get the soft top out. I replaced the hard top. It then poured here in MI for the next 3 days. I do have a leak just as the other 8 or so people described in this chain… As far as I can tell, the water is running down the channel between the two front panels and is then dripping down into the jeep at the front corner of this seam right over the rear view mirror. the water lands on the dash and console.

I took the front panels off, dried the gaskets, put them back on…and still have a leak – although not as bad. It’s not pouring in by any means, but when it rains hard, there’s a drop every few seconds…

You said you work at a dealer and if the screws are overtightened, this could cause the leak… Which screws? The ones holding on the back half of the top or the two large manual screws over the front two seats?

I have no problem believing that we overtightened something…can you give me an idea of which screws to loosen to see if that stops the leak?

Thanks for any more info you can provide!

  28. Another thing – For all of you waiting on orders…

I ordered mine the last weekend in September…It came in on December 27th to the dealer.

Status was “being built” in mid November…so the dealer assured me it would be ready no later than December 9 at that point…

I finally got to pick it up on the 28th of December.

I was not given any reason for the lengthy order process. The last jeep I ordered took 6 weeks to come from the factory. I had a lease that ended on Nov. 15, I had to extend to Dec. 15, then Chrysler told me to utilize their “grace period” and drive it until Dec. 26th.

Luckily, it came in 2 days later.

  29. Wow, I’m really sorry to hear about all the leak problems you guys are having but since I don’t even have my JK yet (been on order since July 10th), I don’t even know how to address it yet. I have been doing some asking around and it seems that a lot of the leaks are being caused by the Freedom Top panels not being seated properly. And, as mentioned, tightening up the knobs will only result it cracking the top. I’ll try to do some more asking around and let you guys know if I can find anything out.

    Eddie

  30. my jeeps been at the dealership for a week and 1/2 now – the service folks say they can’t do anything about the leak until DC puts out a TSB so it’s been sitting in their shop while I drive a Durango they gave me. Tomorrow I’m asking them to order a soft top for it and be done with the damn thing. Very frustrating.

  31. I’ve been reading these posts an am amazed some people have had their JK ordered for 3,4, and even 5 months now without getting it in. I ordered mine on 11/11/06 and have been in D1 status now for about 3 weeks. Does DC put orders in D or D1 status to just
passify people and keep it there for who knows how long. I’ve already sold my 05 F-150 and am driving my son’s truck that I gave to him. This is just unbelievable and a real inconvenience.
I was told 6-8 weeks but from reading these posts it could be Feb. or March before I see the 4dr Sahara I ordered. Good luck to each of you waiting and I really hope this thing is built right, i.e. – bad paint on hinges, missing bump stops, doors not properly aligned. Leaking freedom tops. Good luck to each of you waiting but I’m not at all impressed at this point with DC.
Sold the F-150 last week thinking my 8 weeks would be up this week and would be driving my new Sahara. I’ve ranted enough. Wish the best to everyone waiting!!!!

  32. I have 4 door Sahara with the Freedom top and have not had a water leak problem. Its been rained on, and has been through a car wash multiple times. I have not, to date, taken off any of the hard top panels. I have been monitoring this site for some time, and seeing that the leak issue seems to be wide-spead, I also phoned (today) the Jeep customer service line. They are still, as of today, “not aware” of any TSB in the works or production stopage with regards to the Freedom Hard Tops. Hard to believe. I was wondering how many people out there have a Freedom Top that is not leaking and if you have removed & replaced panels and still are not having any leak problems.

  33. Ed,

Can you elaborate a bit more on the “bad paint on hinges” issue you mention above. I have not heard of this one before.

    Thank you,
    Tony

  34. Tony,

I don’t think it’s a common or serious problem but open the doors of your new Sahara and see if the inside part of the hinges are completely covered with paint. I read on another site which also had pictures of the hinges not being completely covered with paint and being able to see the primer underneath. A definite future rust spot, especially in this area. I’ll try and find that link again and post it here so you and others can check it out for yourselves. Can’t wait to get mine in but I think it’s going to be a while.

    Ed

  35. Has anyone thought of starting a “Free the Jeeps” campaign, because this is getting rediculous! It’s sad because I’m stressed about the fact I haven’t gotten the jeep I bought yet, but even more stressed about the problems this thing seems to be coming equiped with. I don’t remeber asking for the “leaky roof” extra, but I was pretty hyped at the time of purchase, so you never know.

  36. Tony, I have had my Jeep since 12/23 (fyi ordered 10/3). I too have not had a leak. I have not taken the freedom top off yet. Since I live in snow country I will not take the top off until probably May and hope that when I replace it, have a leak, that they will have a solution by then.
For those waiting for your jeep. From what I have found out, if you had a vin# before december then you should see your jeep soon. If not, then you won’t see your jeep untill february to march. Almost 3 month wait was terrible and since I don’t have a leak (yet), I love this Jeep!!! It is the best thing I ever did. My only problem is I can see fog lamps in the front bumper but can’t find a way to turn them on. No switch has been found yet. Anyone know where the switch is?

  37. I have a 4 door Sahara delivered in early October. I have 6K miles on it. The leaking roof is my problem. The removable panels in the front seem to not seat completely with the widow frame. The gasket on the window frame is designed to funnel the water to the outside. Problem is that the water then runs out and falls down to the floor (footwell) area and does not dry up under the floormats. Anyone else noticing moisture under their floormats?
I would assume DC will be redesigning the gasket/seal for the top of the front window to create a better seal all along the removable panels.
I do not want to go to the dealer until I know they have a fix. I will admit that I am concerned they will not fix it if none of us go to the dealer.
    Any thoughts?

  38. Kathy,

Thank you for your reply. I live in the Northeast and like you, will not touch the panels until the warm weather rolls around.

To turn on your fog lights: pull outwards on the end portion of the headlight wheel/switch.

    Tony

  39. I have a 2-door with a hardtop and have a couple of leaks, one directly over the stereo and one at the point where the door frame meets the roof. I actually paid $1,000 less than sticker price but the leaks are frustrating me. Is there a permanent fix yet?

  40. just got off the phone with my dealership – they say a TSB for the roof leak is coming out on the 18th (last week they told me it was coming out this week). So…. I called the state Attorney General’s office and spoke with a couple of folks there and explained my situation. It sounds like, at least in Virginia, if the manufacturer and/or dealer was aware of the issue prior to selling the vehicle they are required, by state law, to advise the purchaser of the problem. The AG’s office seemed reluctant to get involved though unless there were at least a few Virginia residents impacted – any of you happen to live in Virginia????

  41. Yes. Northern VA. I ordered my car last month. It now makes sense why they couldn’t tell me an exact delivery date.

  42. I have had my 2dr greystone pearl x 23s w 17 in rims for about a week. Oh yeah soft top with no leaks. I have wanted one since I was 18(35 now). So I was off track and been driving a car since I was 22. Recently in the market for my second new vehicle ever. I stopped by the dealship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and after a test drive I immediatly bought my jeep off the show room floor. I could not BELIEVE How refined the new JK is. The ride is 10x better and the convenices are great. When I drive by the older wranglers they seem so small to me. I love this new design!!!! I am excited to be a member of the jeep community.

  43. I picked up my ’07 4 door Sahara with the freedom top on Jan. 3rd and I have not had leak problems. I made the dealer “test drive” it with me through the car wash! When it didn’t leak, I bought it. Since then, I’ve taken off the two front panels for a cold drive around town and then put them back on. Then, I took it through the car wash again. No leaks. Am I just lucky? I’m totally happy with my awesome new Jeep and I really feel for those of you with these problems. Because I had read this and other forums before my purchase, I was very careful about the top. I read the manual and made sure I took the panels off and put them back on according to the directions and in the recommended sequence. I made sure that the panels did not overlap the front edge of the seal where it meets the top of the wind sheild. I’ll post here if I have any leaks or if I find out any more information. Best of luck to all.

  44. I took my Jeep in today to have it worked on. I too have the continued leaking problem with the Freedom Top. My service manager told me that a TSB was released on the Freedom Top and it should be 1-2weeks for parts. Iā€™m crossing my fingers.
I took my Jeep in day to have the chip flashed, another TSB. I was suggested this (THANKS CHOPPER) from another link on this web page. I have had trouble with dash lights coming on and my radio shutting off while driving/idling and while pushing both switches for the front/back windows up simultaneous. I should have it back today or tomorrow. I will update later.

  45. ::::Water Leak::::
I purchased a black sahara 4 dr. I brought it to the dealership four times for a water leak on the passenger side underneath the door pocket. They plugged it the three times. Then They replaced the weather strip with an updated one on the fourth time. It still leaks. Just the other day the other three doors started to leak. I’m do to bring it back to the dealer ship this week. I have seen new jeeps on the dealers lot with a sheet of paper on it written with a marker it says “Water done”. I’m trying to do some research if this is a frequent problem I love the jeep but hate the leak. I know jeeps leak eventually but not when its a month old and you just speny twenty-nine grand on it.
Is anyone familiar with the lemon law?
    Would this problem qualify?

  46. thanks tony, found the pull piece as you stated to turn on fog lamps. Felt stupid. Need to look into the paint you mentioned before or rusting issue. What should I look for?

Has anyone heard anything more about the possiblity of jeep adding Mygig to these 4 door jeeps? My dealer says he will call when news comes but just wondering.

  47. Hello all,

I have two or three prior postings on this thread. My 07 Rubi is still on order and although once at BX status, it was demoted to BG a week or so before Christmas. It was ordered a week prior to Thanksgiving. I have had numerous calls with the dealership and my salesman whom I like. He has told me that all Hard Tops were being held pending some sort of repair for the leaking. Additionally, Kathy, it’s my understanding through him that the MyGig was available for ordering on the 4 doors a few weeks ago. If you see my earlier postings, I was originally slated to have it installed later since it wasn’t available at the time of my order, but my order was taking so long that my salesman had the now available MyGig added to it. It was already at BG status when we did this and it did not get further demoted after the MyGig was added. I have no idea when I’m going to get it, but I don’t really care as long as it’s right when it finally comes.

I am greatly curious about the downpour of water into the cabin when opening the doors after rain. If anyone develops a workaround for this or sees one posted elsewhere, please post a link here.

I am tremendously grateful for this community.

    Scott

  48. Just thought I’d post an update as to where my JK is. As you all know by know, I have had mine on order since July 10, 2006 and it just went to D status back in December and D1 on January 3, 2007 with an estimated ship date of the 18th. And, I just checked again today and I now have a new estimated ship of the 17th!! Boy, I sure hope DC isn’t teasing me šŸ™‚
